This Privacy Policy explains how Asemblie, Inc. ("Asemblie," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use asemblie.com and related services (the "Service").
Asemblie, Inc., 17218 Toledo Blade Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL 33954. Privacy questions: privacy@asemblie.com.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide
Account information. Email address, name, and password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we never see or store your plaintext password). If you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from that provider.
Organizer information. Organization name, event details, venue names and addresses, event schedules, pricing, and event configuration.
Vendor information. Business name, booth and storefront details, product listings, prices, photos, descriptions, external shop links, and — where applicable — vehicle profiles or competition entries.
Payment information. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's payment interface and handled by Stripe. We receive and store limited transaction data: amount, currency, timestamp, order contents, last four digits, card brand, and Stripe identifiers.
Payout information. For Vendors and Organizers receiving funds, bank and identity verification information is collected and held by Stripe as part of Stripe Connect onboarding. We receive account status and identifiers, not full bank credentials.
Communications. Messages you send us, support requests, and feedback.
Information collected automatically
Session data. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to maintain guest sessions. Guests may browse, score, and vote without an account; in that case we associate activity with an anonymous browser session identifier rather than a named account.
Usage data. Pages viewed, features used, actions taken (such as adding to cart, following a vendor, or submitting a score), and timestamps.
Device and technical data. IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and referring URL.
Information from others
Payment processor. Stripe provides transaction outcomes, payout status, dispute notifications, and connected account status.
Other users. An Organizer may add you as a Vendor to an event; a Guest may send you a gift card, which includes the recipient email address they provide.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- Create and maintain your account and determine your role and permissions
- Operate the Service: display events, booths, products, maps, search, carts, and leaderboards
- Process transactions, route payouts, issue and redeem gift cards, and mint tickets
- Send transactional messages: order confirmations, gift card codes, vendor follow notifications, event reminders, confirmation requests, and account notices
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, vote manipulation, and security incidents
- Analyze usage in aggregate to improve features and performance
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and unclaimed property requirements
- Enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights and the rights of our users
Legal bases (for users in the EEA/UK). We process personal data as necessary to perform our contract with you (operating the Service and processing transactions), to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and with your consent where required (such as marketing email).
3. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information in these circumstances:
With other users, as the Service requires. Vendor and Organizer profiles, product listings, event details, and public storefronts are visible to Guests. When a Guest places an order, the selling Vendor or Organizer receives the order details and the information necessary to fulfill it. Where you send a gift card, the recipient receives your provided message and the code.
Aggregate scoring. Where you submit scores or votes, results are displayed in aggregate on leaderboards. Individual votes are not attributed publicly to a named account.
With service providers. We share information with vendors who process data on our behalf under contract:
| Provider | Purpose | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing, payouts, identity verification | Transaction and payout data; card and bank data collected directly by Stripe |
| Supabase | Database, authentication, file storage | Account and application data |
| Vercel | Application hosting and delivery | Request and technical data |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | Email addresses and message content |
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Asemblie, our users, or the public.
Business transfers. If Asemblie is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
4. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
After account deletion, we retain:
- Transaction and financial records for at least seven (7) years, as required for tax, accounting, and audit purposes
- Unredeemed gift card records for as long as the obligation remains outstanding, and thereafter as required by applicable unclaimed property law
- Records necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations, for as long as needed for those purposes
Anonymous session data and aggregate analytics may be retained indefinitely in de-identified form.
5. SECURITY
We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored data, hashed passwords, row-level access controls in our database, and restricted internal access.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide information at your own risk. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
6. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Access and correction. You can view and update most account information directly in the Service.
Deletion. You may request deletion of your account by contacting privacy@asemblie.com. Note the retention exceptions in Section 4.
Email preferences. Transactional emails (order confirmations, gift card codes, event reminders) are part of the Service and cannot be fully disabled while you hold an active account or pending transaction. Marketing emails, if any, include an unsubscribe link.
Cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but the Service will not function correctly without session cookies.
If you are in California
Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@asemblie.com. We will verify your request through your account email.
If you are in the EEA or UK
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact privacy@asemblie.com.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact privacy@asemblie.com.
Users between 13 and 18 may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and may not create accounts that transact.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
